LA has been a little Dark 'n' Stormy recently, so it seems only fitting to debut my latest miniature; the Tonga Hut!
Established in 1958 by brothers Ace and Ed Libby, the Tonga Hut is LA's oldest surviving Tiki bar. Step inside this dimly lit tropical hideaway and with one sip of a Mai Tai you'll forget you're on Victory Blvd in North Hollywood.
This 1/30th-scale miniature includes hand-carved rockwork, hand-made tropical foliage, a backlit rooftop sign and red downlights to illuminate the entryway - all powered by a DC wall plug.
IMPORTANT: Small Scale LA is out of the country visiting family, so this miniature will ship or deliver upon his return on November 2nd. Thank you for your understanding.
