Inspired by Morgan Camera Shop located at 6260 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA.

Founded by Gilbert and Willard D. Morgan and built in 1938, Morgan Camera Shop was a Hollywood institution that thrived on the doorstep of the entertainment industry.

The shop offered a range of camera equipment, photography books and magazines and served as a photographic salon and retail/repair shop.

The two-story brick building, designed in the Moderne style by architect Marshall P. Wilkinson, features angled display windows and a distinctive neon blade sign. The Bauhaus-influenced painted signage highlights the importance of commercial signs in early Hollywood.
