Inspired by Chili John’s of CA, located at 2018 W Burbank Blvd, Burbank, CA

Chili John's is a beloved Burbank institution that has been serving up hearty and flavorful chili since 1946. It is the longest continually operating restaurant in Burbank! 

Chili John's has a rich history that began in the 1800's with a chili recipe learned from actual Cowboys! Founder, John Isaac, began serving his "Cowboy Chili" in 1900 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Decades later his son, Ernie, moved to Los Angeles and launched Chili John's of California in 1946.

Over the years, Chili John's has garnered a loyal following and has maintained its commitment to serving delicious comfort food. The interior remains largely untouched, including the u-shaped counter and hand-painted murals.
