Spaulding Square Home

West Hollywood

Inspired by a private residence in historic Spaulding Square, Los Angeles.

This miniature of a 1918 Colonial Revival home was commissioned by a resident of the historic Spaulding Square neighborhood - 8-blocks developed by Albert Starr Spaulding between 1916 and 1926.

The neighborhood location off Sunset Boulevard—fast becoming the major route between studios in Hollywood and stars’ homes in Beverly Hills—made it an appealing place for film technicians and up-and-coming actors to settle. Actress Lucille Ball and director Hugo Hass both lived in the area. - LA City Planning Website
